Media Make-up

Media Make Up

If you have a keen interest in the entertainment industry, but see yourself in a backstage role, our Media Make-up course could be just what you’re looking for.

Preparing performers and models for, shoots, stage and TV is more than just applying make-up, you will need to be skilled in applying looks that translate well on screen and stage and stand up against harsh lighting, and now more than ever, look impeccable on HD TV and increasingly advanced photographic equipment.

You will learn the art of lash and brow treatments, body art design, photographic make-up and tanning techniques. You will also study anatomy and physiology and hairstyling. Work experience will play a key role in the course and could include placements on fashion shoots and theatre productions.
