Our Teaching Academy courses are available at Level/s 3

The Teaching Academy is made up of A Levels in Psychology, Sociology and an Applied General qualification in Early Years and is focused on developing you skills to help you progress to teacher training courses at university, and has been designed to contain complementary subjects to either work in primary education or within selected secondary subjects of the further education sector.

This pathway allows you to develop the skills and experiences to progress on to either primary or secondary education. Our uniquely planned timetable allows you to undertake regular work experience placements at local primary and secondary schools.

You will lead and participate in projects with local schools to help develop your confidence.

Working in education is extremely fulfilling and every day you’ll be able to use your skills to make a difference. The TEC Teaching Academy has been designed to give you a head start within the education sector.
