Art Graphics and Media

About This Course

You will study a range of subjects such as design, animation, photography, fine art, painting, printmaking, illustration and storyboard design. This course is designed to give you the knowledge and skills to help you pick what you’d like to specialise in for your future career.

Entry Requirements

Level 1 – You will require GCSE grades 1/2 or equivalent including Foundation Awards and Entry Certificates.
Level 2 – You will require a minimum of 3 GCSEs grade 2 or above including Maths and English, or a Level 1 in your chosen subject.


ENGLISH & MATHS
If you haven’t achieved a GCSE Grade 4 (C) in English and/or Maths, you will be required to either; take a Functional Skills qualification if you have achieved a Grade 1, or retake the GCSE if you’ve achieved Grade 2 or 3. You will be fully supported by our specialist team.

Work Experience

Personalised work experience opportunities are available in art galleries, community art groups, design companies and printers and this will form part of your full time study programme

Trips, Visits & Guest Speakers

Relevant trips may be offered throughout the duration of your course
