Childcare
The Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner is designed for those young people wanting to begin a career in the Early Years sector. You will learn how to look after children from the ages of 0-7 years. You will gain knowledge of how to keep babies and children safe, supporting children with additional needs and learn the importance of children learning through play.
Study at Level:
This course is offered at Levels 1 and 2. At Level 3, you will study the T Level in Education and Childcare.

These courses are assessed through a series of assignments, examinations and the building of a portfolio of subject evidence.
You will require a minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade 3 or above including Maths and English.
Level 2 Early Years students will undertake work experience as part of their course. This enables them to implement the knowledge and theory learnt in the classroom into real life Early Years settings.
