About this course

About this apprenticeship

The role covers a wide range of common and job specific skills sets that can be transferred across the manufacturing engineering industry sectors during the course of their careers. Dependent on the sector that they are employed in there may be subtle differences in terms of composition and application of the job role specific skills and knowledge they will require, however the core skills and knowledge will be the same regardless of the sector/area they work in.

This is a Level 2 Apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Individual employers will set the selection criteria for their Apprenticeships.

What you Will Learn

Mandatory Qualifications Include: – Diploma in Engineering Operations (skills) – Certificate or Diploma in Engineering Operations (knowledge).

If not already achieved, the apprentice will have to achieve Level 1 English and Maths and take the test for Level 2 prior to taking their end-point assessment.

Learning & Teaching Methods

The delivery will be a mixture of work-based training and progress assessment mixed with college taught sessions throughout the programme week on Monday’s to support the off the job training requirement.

Delivery is based at the Beverley campus.
