Applying for a Course within Higher Education

Applying to Scarborough TEC couldn’t be easier, you can apply via UCAS or direct to Scarborough TEC, depending on your application type. If you are applying only to Scarborough TEC you are able to apply direct. If you are applying to more than one university then please apply via UCAS.

All applications for full-time undergraduate level study should be made through UCAS (Universities and Colleges Admissions Service). To apply to Scarborough TEC, via our TEC Partnership page on the UCAS website.

Our provider name and code is GRIMC and G80 and all our courses will be listed. Direct UCAS links can also be found on each programme’s web page.

• or if you are applying direct to Scarborough TEC and no other provider.

When to Apply

Applications open 1 September 2026. The official closing date for applications is 14 January 2027. University Centre Grimsby, however, will consider applications made after this closing date, subject to places being available on your chosen course(s).

Mature Student Applications

Scarborough TEC welcomes applications from mature students of all backgrounds.
