Student Support at Scarborough TEC 

At Scarborough TEC, we’re commited to supporting all our students. We have a wide range of information, advice and guidance and support services available to help make your time with us a fantastic experience. 

We provide a number of services on a wide range of personal, social and academic levels. If you have a learning difficulty, a sensory impairment, or a physical disability, we will provide you with all the support that you need so you can attend, enjoy and achieve on your course. 

When you apply to the college, we will meet with you to discuss your learning needs and, if you require specialist support, our Student Support Team will ensure you get dedicated help. 

We provide help and support in a number of areas, including: 

• Dyslexia or dyscalculia 
• ADD/ADHD 
• Autistic disorder such as Asperger’s syndrome 
• Hearing or a visual impairment.
