As a parent or carer, you naturally want your young person to have the best opportunities and a strong foundation for their future. We also understand that choosing the right next step after school can feel overwhelming. At Scarborough TEC, we’re here to support both students and their families through every stage of their transition into further education, apprenticeships or higher-level study.
Outstanding Learning Environment
Future-Focused Opportunities
Consistent Success
Scarborough TEC offers an extensive range of study options including Entry Level to Level 3 qualifications, vocational courses, T Levels and apprenticeships in a variety of subject areas. Maths and English remain essential skills, and we provide tailored support to help students achieve the qualifications they need.
Our learners go on to exciting careers, enrol at top universities and many achieve awards at national and international level.
Financial Support Available
There is lots of financial help designed to support students during their studies, subject to eligibility.
Students at Scarborough TEC enjoy a wide range of enrichment activities that complement their chosen study areas, including workshops, projects and inspiring talks from guest speakers.
To make travelling easier, we offer subsidised or free bus passes to ensure all learners can access the campus, subject to eligibility.
Every student is supported by a dedicated Personal Progression Coach and Curriculum Manager, providing individual guidance, pastoral support and help throughout their time with us.
Parents and carers play a vital part in helping learners stay motivated and on track. Keeping an eye on attendance, supporting their study routine and encouraging good organisation all make a positive difference.
If your young person is unwell or experiencing difficulties that might affect their progress, please contact us as soon as possible so we can put the right support in place. Attending parents’ evenings and staying in regular communication ensures we can work together to help every learner achieve their potential.
Keeping us informed of any important circumstances, big or small, helps us understand their needs and provide the right support at the right time.
