Scarborough TEC receives award for Armed Forces support

Scarborough TEC is delighted to announce it has received the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) bronze award.

This award recognises our statement of intent to support defence personnel, including those who have served in the Armed Forces and their families.

By achieving the bronze award, we have shown that we are armed forces-friendly and are open to employing reservists, armed forces veterans, cadet instructors and military spouses or partners.

We have also signed the Armed Forces Covenant, recognising the value serving personnel, veterans and military families contribute to our organisation and our country.

Simon Gummerson, Associate Principal at Scarborough TEC, said: “We are delighted to have received this award, in recognition of our wholehearted support for the Armed Forces.

“The forces do an incredible job of protecting our nation, so it is our honour and duty to support serving members, veterans and their families.”
