Scarborough TEC students jet off to Thailand

Exciting times for Scarborough TEC students! Twenty students from our campuses across Grimsby, East Riding, and Scarborough were selected to participate in the esteemed Turing Scheme, embarking on a transformative journey to Thailand. This initiative, funded by the Department for Education (DfE), aims to provide students with unparalleled opportunities for skill development, international experience, and cultural understanding.

In Thailand, our students have wasted no time in immersing themselves in the rich tapestry of Thai culture. From exploring the renowned Dusit Thani College to indulging in luxurious spa treatments, they are delving into the realms of hospitality and beauty. Through first-hand experiences, they are gaining insights into industry sustainability, savouring traditional Thai cuisine, and unravelling the secrets of top-tier beauty and wellness establishments. Their enthusiasm and dedication are palpable, promising an unforgettable journey filled with learning and personal growth.
