Our Engineering courses are based in our brand-new Engineering & Construction Centre at the Filey Road Campus.

Our engineering courses are designed to allow you to gain these vital skills in our engineering facility which includes conventional and computer controlled machines, a computer-aided design suite, excellent welding facilities and an electronics laboratory.
You will get the chance to learn about all aspects of the industry as all courses adopt a multi-discipline approach to engineering that helps you decide which branch of engineering you would like to follow. There has never been a more exciting time to get into engineering, the industry as a whole in our area is set to grow with many exciting opportunities in the pipeline meaning there is a future need for skilled engineers.
Our curriculum also follows the requirements of Engineering Apprenticeships and we have a proven track record of working with local employers to help them train future generations of Engineers.
English & Maths
If you haven’t achieved a GCSE Grade 4 (C) in English and/or Maths you will be required to either; take a Functional Skills qualification if you have achieved a Grade 1 or 2, or retake the GCSE if you’ve achieved Grade 3. You will be fully supported by our specialist team ahead of taking the exam.

These courses are assessed through a series of practical and online multiple-choice tests. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience.
