We provide authentic studios and workshops for learning, genuine tutors with expert knowledge, and genuine support at every stage. As times evolve and the world changes, Scarborough TEC equips school leavers with the skills necessary to shape their own future and become their authentic selves!
If you’re finishing school in Summer 2025, it’s the perfect moment to explore your study options and prepare for your future endeavours. As a Scarborough TEC student, you can anticipate gaining practical experience either on campus in our workshops or classrooms, or through industry placements facilitated by our numerous employer connections.

Subject Areas
T Levels are a two-year high quality technical based qualification, designed by employers to meet the knowledge and skills valued in the sector. The programme focuses on vocational skills and are designed to equip learners into skilled work, apprenticeships or higher education.
Equivalent to 3 A Levels, T Levels offer pathways to degree level study, employment or an apprenticeship and are viewed as an alternative form of study for 16-19 year olds.
Learners will spend 80% in the classroom/workshop and 20% with an employer so that a full range of skills are developed.
Within the T Level, the learner will complete the following:
- The technical qualification which will include the core content (theory) and an occupational specialism (pathway) to provide the learner with the practical skills required for the world of work
- An industry placement (minimum of 315 hours) with an employer relevant to your chosen occupational specialism
